पेरिस, प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने शुक्रवार को कहा कि 2019 के लोकसभा चुनाव का प्रचंड जनादेश सिर्फ एक सरकार को नहीं, बल्कि एक ऐसे ‘न्यू इंडिया’ के निर्माण के लिए है, जो कारोबार की सुगमता के साथ बेहतर जीवनयापन पर केन्द्रित हो।
प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने फ्रांस में 1950 और 1960 के दशक में एयर इंडिया के दो विमान हादसों में मारे गये लोगों के सम्मान में एक स्मारक का उद्घाटन करने के बाद यहां यूनेस्को मुख्यालय में भारतीय समुदाय को संबोधित करते हुए यह बात कही। उन्होंने कहा कि ‘न्यू इंडिया’ में भ्रष्टाचार, परिवारवाद, जनता के पैसे की लूट, आतंकवाद के खिलाफ कार्रवाई की जा रही है।
जम्मू-कश्मीर के विशेष दर्जे को समाप्त करने के बारे में स्पष्ट संकेत करते हुए उन्होंने कहा, ‘‘भारत में अस्थायी चीजों के लिए कोई जगह नहीं है। आपने देखा होगा कि 1.25 अरब लोगों के देश, महात्मा गांधी, गौतम बुद्ध, राम, कृष्ण की भूमि में, उसे हटाने में 70 साल लग गए, जो अस्थायी था।’’
तीन देशों के अपने दौरे के पहले चरण में फ्रांस पहुंचे मोदी ने कहा कि लोगों ने ‘न्यू इंडिया’ के निर्माण के लिए भाजपा सरकार को प्रचंड जनादेश दिया है। उन्होंने कहा कि भारत विकास के पथ पर तेजी से आगे बढ़ रहा है।
तीन तलाक पर उन्होंने कहा, ‘‘हमने तीन तलाक की प्रथा को खत्म किया, नए भारत में मुस्लिम महिलाओं के साथ अन्याय नहीं किया जा सकता।’’
उन्होंने कहा कि भारत जलवायु परिवर्तन के 2030 तक के ज्यादातर लक्ष्यों को अगले डेढ़ साल में ही हासिल कर लेगा।
प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने कहा कि भारत 2025 में क्षय रोग (टीबी) से मुक्त हो जाएगा।
