कोरोना वायरस के कारण उजागर हुआ चीन का चरित्र: अमेरिकी विदेश मंत्री
वाशिंगटन, कोविड-19 संकट पर अमेरिका और चीन के बीच चल रही जुबानी जंग के बीच विदेश मंत्री माइक पोम्पिओ ने रविवार को कहा कि कोरोना वायरस महामारी के कारण चीन की सत्ताधारी कम्युनिस्ट पार्टी का अधिनायकवादी और दुनियाभर में आधिपत्य जमाने की आकांक्षा का चरित्र उजागर हो चुका है।
पोम्पिओ ने स्काई न्यूज ऑस्ट्रेलिया से कहा, “इस कोरोना वायरस के कारण मुझे लगता है कि चीनी कम्युनिस्ट पार्टी का चरित्र उजागर हो चुका है। हममें से जो भी यह देख रहा है वह दुनिया में इसके खतरे के बारे में बात कर रहा है। हमें अधिनायकवादी सत्ता का चरित्र मालूम है। हम जानते हैं कि जब पत्रकारों को बोलने की स्वतंत्रता नहीं दी जाती तब क्या होता है।”
उन्होंने कहा, “हमने चीन की कम्युनिस्ट पार्टी की दुनियाभर में आधिपत्य जमाने की आकांक्षा को भी देखा है। यह बेल्ट एन्ड रोड परियोजना के जरिये किया जा रहा हो या सरकार द्वारा प्रायोजित अन्य कामों के जरिये किया जा रहा हो।”
पोम्पिओ ने कहा कि चीन की कम्युनिस्ट पार्टी और विश्व स्वास्थ्य संगठन ने दिसंबर से लेकर इस साल फरवरी तक कोरोना वायरस के बारे में दुनिया से जानकारी छिपाने का काम किया है।
